Re-Releast 1996 by Virgin – Live 1992 at “Outpost” in Göttingen & “Weinberg Halle” in Eschwege. This live album was a prerequisite (Snoop Records option) for allowing The Bates to switch from Snoop Records to Virgin Records. Amusing is that the name “Zimbl” was misspelled in an official CD release, namely “Zimbel”.
Re-Released 2020 from Glitterhouse Records as a vinyl disc (with new artwork).

On 18.06.2006 Markus “Zimbl” Zimmer (bass / vocals The Bates) died. He was only 41 years old. To honor him, on 28.12.2006 a big tribute event took place in Spot-Kassel. For the first time since the official band separation in 2001, all former Bates members climbed back together in 2006 as part of this event. All the proceeds of this event have been donated to good causes. The Tribute-Sampler was limited to 1000 pieces. The sampler was sold out after a few days.

The CD was released as part of the Bates & Friends Festival 2009. From track 9 all tracks are live-cuts of the concert 1990 in Spot – Kassel. These live recordings were released for the first time. Again, the total proceeds were donated to a good cause.

Re-Released 2020 at Glitterhouse Records – Live 1992 at “Outpost” in Göttingen & “Weinberg Halle” in Eschwege. This live album was reissued in 2020 as vinyl and with new artwork. This time without spelling mistakes. It appeared as a regular black version and in a red and green version, each limited to 500 pieces.
What you leave behind (A Tribute to The Bates)

To mark the 60th birthday of the late singer Zimbl, the tribute album “What you leave behind” was released with numerous bands and musicians who have shared the stage with the Bates in the past. The remaining Bates musicians are also included, either with their current bands or as guest musicians.
The compilation was released on vinyl and digital. Also as a milky white blue splattered vinyl edition limited to 100 copies.
